Our Ministry of Prayer

As Benedictines, we take our call to be men and women of prayer very seriously. We are dedicated to the recitation of the Divine Office, Lectio Divina, silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and intercessory prayer for the needs of the whole world.

Our modern world is filled with much strife and suffering, even in our own country of abundance are found so very many who are desolate, desparing and without even the will to pray.  If you or someone known to you is suffering and in need of being lifted up in prayer, we welcome your requests via email from our contact page.

An important part of our life within the Community of St. Joseph is to pray also for each other- for a strengthening of our vocations.  Our very secular modern world doesn't always make room for or honor those who desire to live a Religious way of life, so we need to pray for each other- and we need your prayers too.
